Selected for use in High Quality Linear Bearing and Guideway systems where

Induction Hardened, Corrosion Resistant materials are required.

Mechanical and Physico-metallurgical Properties: The yield and tensile strength are not standardized. An analysis from 50 batches measuring 12-130mm calculated from HB-Values resulted in the following Standard Values:

Diam. 20 - 130 mm milled and peeled: Diam. 12 + 14 m drawn (without finish annealing)
Minimum Value Rm = 720 N/mm2 Minimum Value: Rm = 930 N/mm2
Maximum Value: Rm = 860 N/mm2 Maximum Value: Rm = 1015 N/mm2
Average Value: Rm = 835 N/mm2 Average Value: Rm = 973 N/mm2

Values accoring to SEW 400: Thermal Expansion:
E-Modulus at  20oC = 220 000 N/mm2 20 - 100oC = 1.4 x 10-6 x K
E-Modulus at 100oC = 216 000 N/mm2 20 - 200oC = 10.8 x 10-6 x K
Density: 7.7 kg/ dm3 The material is magnetizable
